The Typical Sculptra Patient

Sculptra Procedure Information
- A tiny needle is used to inject a tiny amount of the dermal filler into the skin to fill out the wrinkles and folds
- Anesthesia is not generally needed, but a topical anesthetic may be used for your comfort
- The Sculptra injection procedure takes about 30–45 minutes
- No dressings or bandages are needed
- Sculptra injections can be combined with other plastic surgery procedures
Recovery from Sculptra Injections
- You can go back to work and full unrestricted activities immediately
- You can shower and wash your face six 6 hours after treatment
- Some minor swelling or redness may occur within the first few days of treatment
- You must massage the face 3 times per day for 2 weeks after treatment
Results of Sculptra Injections
- You see initial results immediately
- The final results are achieved after stimulating your skin's collagen production
- The full effect will occur within 3 to 6 months
- Beautiful and natural elimination or softening of most affected wrinkles and folds that lasts about 6 months
